Entry #10- Behind the Curtin: One Final Thought

 Blogs, a way to communicate online with ideas and values that are important to an author.

The process there is the creation of ideas to share. However, this first step can be the hardest to overcome. It seems to be hard for people to appear to be original in their ideas. this deters many from posting about their true thoughts or ideas. A term to describe this difficulty is termed writers block.

Personally, I consult with friends, the internet and other sources. Sometime writers block is inevitable no matter what sources are used. Sometimes the best way to combat this is time. So it is beneficial that if there is a deadline to plan out the potential of writers block.  

Another problem that is common to run into when writing a blog includes how to engage with readers. This can prove difficult as some thoughts or ideas may attract the wrong kind of attention. This can also convey the wrong message to potential readers. 

Some ways to combat this is by being authentic. By being truly you in your writing allows for a gentility to be portrayed throughout the writing. This builds a trust with readers and allows for the writer to become more interested in what they are writing. Therefore, making the writing better and easier to understand or follow. 

Overall, there are many issues with writing blogs or other forms of publication of original ideas or thoughts. However, there are many ways to combat these issues and I am sure there are many more not mentioned here. So, If there is one thing that is remembered through my writing is that there is always a way to do anything that you want. So enjoy life and realize sometimes all we need is time to realize the importance of living.

    For myself, I find my hesitation with writing mostly comes from anxiety. I find the best way to overcome it is to start freewriting and it usually gets me going. A little bit of tequila doesn't hurt either.

    I appreciate how you emphasized patience and authenticity in writing. Writer’s block can be frustrating, but sometimes the best approach is to give yourself time. Being genuine truly helps connect with readers. Your reminder to enjoy the process and not give up is important, especially when it's tempting to feel stuck.

Entry #1-Cheerfully yours: Cheerleading Chronical

A controversial topic arises when discussing the validity of sports and what they mean by definition. Well many would like to say that contact and competition are what make up good sport. Others might mention the sportsmanship, and teamwork that comes with being involved in a group sport. These factor are all involved in a sport that I have dedicated 9 years of my life to. That sport is all-star competitive cheerleading. Many would like to argue that there is not physical contact involved invalidating its standing as a "real sport". However, there are unfortunately many accidents in cheerleading due to the contact involved with the sport. Ranging from serious injuries involving broken bones, torn muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
